Our frame constructions are extremely strong and reliable. We only use beech or birch wood for this purpose. If any show wood is required within the design additional timber is supplied to create the desired effect, for example, rose wood, solid oak, mahogany etc.

All upholstery construction will be discussed with the client we generally like to advise that a traditional approach is taken and comfort gained by using modern materials. For example, most of our seat units are traditionally hand coil sprung which will give you a very firm and durable seat. Additional comfort is then obtained by using rubber hair or modern foams complemented with a cushion filling of your choice, be that feathers or foams.

Once the build has reached the 'first covering' stage, the calico and resembles the finished design, we will invite you to the our workshop to view the aesthetics and ergonomics of the build. We are very much of the opinion that you are involved in this evolutionary process of furniture design. Small changes can be made at this stage to the visual look of the build. Here you will also have the opportunity to sample our vast selection of different density foam fillings or natural feather fillings for the seat and back cushions, which ultimately will give you the comfort that is so personal to you.

Generally within 10 days of your visit your furniture will be completed.
